Hasnain Maqsood, M.D is a Board-Certified Adult psychiatrist currently practicing in San Francisco Bay area. He completed his psychiatry residency training from Saint Elizabeths Hospital in Washington, DC in 2010 and Attended Washington School of Psychiatry for basic psychotherapy training. He also has an Adult Psychoanalytic Fellowship from Baltimore Washington Psychoanalytic institute. He completed Basic Forensic Evaluation training from University of Virginia, Institute of Law and Psychiatry and he is a member of American Psychiatric Association. He has a vast range of expertise practicing both in in-patient and out-patient setting at Lewis Gale Hospital Allegany and Roanoke Virginia before moving to California. He worked at Napa State Hospiatal as a staff psychiatrist from 2014 before getting promoted to the position of Senior Psychiatrist Supervisor. He works as an out-pateint psychiatrist for Solano County. He has been providing psychiatric services at Alled Medical & Consultation Services since 2021.

He offers clinical care to adults suffering from a broad range of mental health conditions include anxiety, depression, psychotic and mood disorders. Dr. Maqsood’s approach with patients emphasizes on compassion, empathy and support with a detailed Diagnostic evaluation in order to create a comprehensive treatment plan unique to the needs of each patient.

He primary provides medication management along with psychotherapy on a case by case basis as some patients benefit from a combination of both. His practice approach is based on treating the patient as a whole based on Bio-Psycho-Social Model. He tried to provide a caring environment and establish a relationship with each patient to help them dealing with mental health issues.
